You will be responsible for key contributions to publication sites, working with a wide variety of HighWire staff on many varied joint efforts. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying, documenting and communicating solutions to others, including internal staff as well as to customers directly.You will lead our fast paced R&D and professional services development projects that is responsible for the successful execution of MPS's future product roadmap for prestigious worldwide customer / user base.
Developer ( 4+ Years) :
- B.Tech, MCA in computer science or engineering degree or a related field or equivalent work experience required.
- 4+ years of experience in product development using Drupal, CSS, JavaScript, XSL, XML, HTML, PHP with MYSQL
- Proven experience in developing components, hook events, and full stack development experience using Drupal and PHP
- Excellant Drupal experience building web sites using built-in and contributed modules including production development of public websites.
- Strong PHP OR PERL development experience.
- A solid knowledge of PHP and associated libraries and tools.
- Deep background developing high performance, high availability sites leveraging load balancers, CDN, caching tools, dev-ops tools and front-end optimization techniques.
- A deep background in Unix shell, database design and Apache web server configuration
- Excellant communication skills
Core Job Duties :
- Design, develop and troubleshoot solutions for specialized sites using industry standard technologies, particularly Drupal, CSS and JavaScript, but also including XHTML, XML and scripting languages, particularly PHP, but also including Perl, Python, or Ruby.
- Assess project requests and develop clear, accurate technical approaches for project work/solutions that will be developed both locally and offshore.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and/or automate technical solutions so that job functions can be performed more efficiently.
Tech Lead (6+ Years) & Engineering Manager (9+ Years):
- Excellent leadership skills to mentor the engineers under you.
- Proficiency in system design. Deep understanding on how various distributed systems works & expertise with highly transactional, large relational and complex systems.
- Experience with Drupal(8/9), PHP, Python, Linux, Apache, MySQL, solr, memcache, redis, javascript, ajax etc.
- Comfortable with Microservices, NoSQL databases, and various communication protocols i.e. REST/ Message queues/ RPC.
- Exposure to functional programming and/or event driven programming.
- Understanding of production and cloud architecture like AWS
- Deep hands-on technical experience in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis
- At least 6+ years in a top tier product company and some experience in managing a team.
- A BE/BTech in Computer Science or some equivalent academic stance from premium colleges

- Very good in low level design i.e. design classes with clear responsibilities.
- Responsible for production deployment of code and support for any production bugs.
