About Us :
GroMo is a social commerce technology platform that enables resellers to sell financial products such as insurance, credit card and loans in their network, founded by IIT Delhi alumni in 2019. With 20+ employees already, Gromo is growing at a rapid pace, currently enrolled in the prestigious Y Combinator winter batch '21, having already raised a pre-seed round of Rupees 4 Cr.
The company has more than 5K resellers on its platform. They expect to raise their seed round post-completion of the Y-combinator batch.
Role Title : Head of Engineering
Location : Gurgaon
Salaries start at : 25 LPA
Experience Required : 5
Responsibilities :
- Lead the organisation's strategy from technical aspect to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
- Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal targets
- Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence
- Track, analyse, monitor and report the progress of various projects
- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape
- Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity
- Use stakeholder's feedback to device necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
Requirements :
- Proven experience in leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of system architecture, design, and development
- Hands-on experience with complex project management
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Understanding of budgets and business-planning
- Proactive problem solver
- Attention to details.
- Very good understanding of PHP, Javascript and jQuery
- Excellent hands-on knowledge of SQL and no-SQL databases
