We are looking for Node.js Developers who have experience building back-end services and managing data exchange between the server and user-facing applications. Responsibilities will include the development of back-end logic, definition and maintenance of the database and maintaining the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application. You will work closely with the front-end developers in order to implement their components into the application. Your responsibilities will include -
- Developing back end website applications
- Creating servers and databases for functionality
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications
- Developing and maintaining all server-side network components
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
- Designing and developing APIs
- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code
- Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measure and storage solutions
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in Node Express.js framework
- Demonstrable experience in designing object oriented JavaScript and SVG
- Should be able to Design, Develop and Unit test complex Node JS application
- Experience with Databases like Mongo DB or MySQL or Postgres is a must
- Experience in developing web applications using MEAN Stack
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP/ ASP.NET/ JavaScript or Ruby on Rails
- Good exposure to consuming data through different interfaces (Web API's REST/ RESTFUL/ JSON/ XML)
- Experience documenting and testing RESTful APIs
- Working experience with server-side CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS, and Stylus) and familiarity with React, AngularJS, PHP, jQuery, etc.
- BE/ ME / BCA / MCA/ BTech or an equivalent degree
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of ETL, data management, data governance
- Experience with NPM, as well as task runners, such as Gulp, Grunt, Broccoli, Brunch, etc.
- Expertise in other server-side technologies like .Net and Java
