Responsibilities and Duties :
- PHP / Java Developer
- Design overall architecture of the web application.
- Mentor engineers across the organization.
- Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with the business users to design and launch new features.
- You will be in charge of recruiting the engineering team for software development, testing and cloud operations.
- Study the existing architecture and identify reusable components/modules which can be abstracted out as part of the platform.
- Interact with various stakeholders to decide the platform road map and ensure that the platform meets the needs.
- Provide code contribution to the platform, particularly where high degree of complexity is involved.
- Perform design and code reviews.
- Provide high quality technical input to your team members and engineers of user-facing product teams.
- Mentor engineers across the organization.
- Suggest improvements to existing technical systems in the organization.
Skills & Experience :
- Experience in Software Design, Development and Architecture
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering.
- Excellent coding discipline, exposure to SDLC and industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineers of varying experience levels and expertise and have strong influencing and leadership skills.
- Should have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate to technical and non-technical people with ease.
- Ability to strike balance between being hands-on and providing guidance to other engineers.
- Prior exposure to a start-up environment is preferred.
- Experience and desire for working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- A positive can do attitude.
- Ability to remain focused and work in an open work place with frequent distractions.
- Passion for software engineering and a history of self-learning programming languages.
