Job Brief:
Rajguru Steel Industries is looking for an outstanding Web Developer (with basic Graphic Designing skills for design of brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials & Web Designing skills for designing and building the interface, navigation and aesthetic of websites for businesses) to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website. Web developer responsibilities include building our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Development & Updation.
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML / CSS / Javascript / PHP practices.
- Integrating data from various back-end services and databases.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and applies them into operations and activities.
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent.
- Be a single point of contact for sorting, storing & documenting all the important files, folders & important communications with all he engaged stakeholders (inc. staff, customers, vendors, suppliers & other internal as well as external agencies/ departments) at cloud level with continuous monitoring & reporting in appropriate formats to the management.
- Troubleshoot website problems.
- Maintain and update websites.
- Monitor website traffic.
- Creating, Monitoring & Updating SOPs relating to Files & Folders, Templates Management. - Using & Tracking SEO, SEM, SMM.
- Weekly & Monthly reporting of all the activities as per the format finalised with management.
Note: Responsibilities are not limited by the above-mentioned points.
Qualifications:
- Under-Graduate (BE Computer Science/ B. Sc Computer Science)
- Any specialized/ higher course will be an added advantage.
Experiences:
- Min. of 1 year of relevant work experience with proven web development & designing experience.
- Should have completed at least 2 project end-to-end for Website Development, Designing, Tracking, Monitoring & Updating.
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Photoshop for basic Graphic Designing).
- Candidate who have created, monitored & updated websites of similar product line (Stainless Steel Residential & Industrial use products) in B2C sector will have added advantage).
Competencies (Skill sets and other requirement):
- Strong written & spoken communication in English.
- Proven working experience in web programming.
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails.
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, SEM & SMM process.
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
- Working in tight deadlines.
