We have an urgent requirement for WordPress Developer to join our team. Below are the desired skills required for this role :
a) Experience of 2-7 years
b) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
c) Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
d) Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery,
e) Experience working with Marketing/SEO teams (tackling complex SEO issues, an eye for aesthetics and content management skills)
f) Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
g) Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
h) Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
i) Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
j) Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
k) Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
l) Knowledge of technical aspects of SEO, and tackling them on WordPress
m) Development/Implementation of themes and plugins
n) Experience working with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
o) Experience with localization of websites, keeping all the best practices in mind.
p) Experience with building multi-website structure with SEO/tech best practices in mind
Roles and Responsibilities-:
- Designing and building the website front-end, while working closely with Marketing/Content/SEO teams
- Creating the website architecture to ensure high web performance (Core Web Vitals, Page Speed, Performance).
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Maintain/tweak or create new custom elements on WP to ensure ease of work for non-tech team members (writers who work on the website)
- Conducting website performance tests and optimizations accordingly
- Troubleshooting content issues
- Monitoring the performance of the live website, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
