Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
- Writing clean, well designed code with proper documentation and comments.
- Creating detailed specifications.
- Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimisation and functionality.
- Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Developing and deploying new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
- Developing, integrating and deploying REST, SOAP.
Candidate Requirements :
- Software Engineer with 3+ years of development experience in PHP.
- Prior experience with a SAAS product will be a plus.
- Expertise in Core PHP and PHP MVC frameworks (Cake PHP, Zend, Code Igniter, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of third party API and web-service (REST, SOAP) design, coding and implementation.
- Proficiency in web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQUERY, AJAX, XML/JSON.
- Ability to optimize UI and responsiveness.
- Good knowledge of relational and flat databases (MYSQL, MONGODB), version control tools such as GitHub preferable.
- Experience in developing and maintaining.
- Content Management Systems.
- Disciplined approach to unit testing and quality assurance.
- Prior experience in an agile environment.
- Strong analytical and proven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as on teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in order to document architectural design and standards.
