Position: DevOps Cloud Lead (Leading MNC IT Company)
Role and Requirements :
- Minimum of 8+ years overall IT industry experience
- Minimum of 3+ years in DevOps practice, CICD implementations
- Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
- Familiarity with agile software development in Go, C/C++, Java, JavaScript
- Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, Teamcity, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps kit
- Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP, Groovy, Bash
- Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, WorkFront, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.
- Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services
- Responsible for assessment and evaluation of current build and deployment strategies in place
- Lead DevOps implementation for different product verticals
- Expertise in implementing CICD for complex distributed solutions
- Responsible for creating a standard approach of DevOps strategy
- Automate operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with security requirements
- Establish DevOps Engineer team best practices
- Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes
- Work with open-source technologies as needed
- Work with CI and CD tools, and source control such as GIT, Github and SVN
- Lead the team through development and operations
- Stay current with industry trends and source new ways for our business to improve
