Job description:
As a Technical Project Manager at Tyfone you will be expected to provide technical and management leadership for product delivery. You should work with the Product Delivery team to plan the delivery development roadmap and guide the delivery team as per the plan.
Responsibilities :
Project Managers at Tyfone will be responsible for :
1. Lead and manage complex and high priority projects from initiation to final roll-out
2. Responsible for understanding the project roadmap, planning and monitoring the work, keeping track of the resource availability
3. Effectively communicate the plan to the team and get a buy-in before starting the development work
4. Interface with the various internal teams as needed to analyze the requirements, assess the technical feasibility of various customer requests
5. Mentoring and Human resources management
6. Providing projects status updates to Tyfone Management
7. Handle the team dynamics and conflicts efficiently without losing the focus of delivering the committed work
8. Complete project life cycle management
a. Planning & Implementation
b. Progress tracking
c. Identifying risks and risk mitigation planning
d. Providing direction, motivation, support and inspiration to the program team
e. Ensuring that quality guidelines and recommendations are met
f. Prepares and presents the progress report to the management team
g. Documentation
Requirements :
1. Good and effective communication and leadership skills.
2. Good interpersonal skills so as to be able to relate with people or personnel from different units of the company
3. Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
4. A good understanding and hands-on experience in building a different type of software applications (Web, mobile)
5. A good understanding of various technology stacks (ex: Java, PHP, JSP etc)
6. A good understanding of the importance of usability and design for building a good product
7. Familiarity with JSON, XML, JavaScript, HTML5, RESTful APIs, RDBMS concepts
8. Good understanding and experience of Agile Development process (Scrum) will be an advantage
9. Good understanding of Jira
10. Graduation in Computer Science or Electronics streams
11. 7+ years of work experience which should include
a) Developing and/or leading the development of medium to large web applications
b) 3 -5 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing projects end-to-end.
