About the role: We are looking for a senior developer who has strong skillset and experience in Python (Flask) + MongoDB and also has working knowledge of PHP (Laravel).
The developer will work on development of 2 applications:
(1) Trade (export / import) tech platform - Ekimport.com - international award winning, world's first crowd importing platform.

(2) Fintech platform - that works in impact investment space.
Demonstrated Experience and Required Qualification:
- Python (Flask) - Extensive experience
- PHP (Laravel) - good experience
- HTML/CSS/Javascript - good experience
- MYSQL and MongoDB databases - good experience
- Unix/Linux/SSH - good working knowledge of development and server environments
- Git - good working knowledge of version controlling system
- Exposure to the REST and MVC architectural style.
- Ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, both written and oral.
- Ability to prepare documents fluently in English.
- High comfort level working in a relatively flat, non-hierarchical environment.
- Entrepreneurial nature - ability to handle unstructured situations and think innovatively.
- Graduate degree, with a Software engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science major preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
