Overview:
The person will be responsible to lead implementation and support of technology solutions in open source technology stack. This person creates technical strategy and guides team in implementing solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of UI/UX and Back-end developers
- Owns technical architectural and design decisions for solution implementation
- Designing and developing cloud / on prem based applications conforming to industry best practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies, open source libraries and propose relevant technology stack based on product requirement
- Setup Agile / Scrum ecosystem for projects and enable team to adapt it
- Supporting and maintaining existing software products, applications and interfaces
Technology Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in open source technology full stack - Java / Python / Ruby / PHP / Perl / Node.js / Angular / ReactJs / Bootstrap / etc.
- Expert in object-oriented programming, software design patterns
- Strong knowledge of enterprise-class software requirements including security, scalability, and usability
- Hands-on experience in Restful API management and Microservices architecture
- Proven experience in database designing for both RDBMS (MySQL, Postgres) and NOSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) technologies
- Working experience with development of Android and IOS based mobile applications
- Proficient in source code versioning using GIT and setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated build and testing
- Experience in setting up Dockerized containers and Kubernetes
- Good experience in cloud platform (AWS / Azure / Google cloud)
- Ability to fully design and produce end- to- end technical specification for software systems
Project and People Experience
- 4+ years of experience in leading 5-10 sized agile / Devops teams
- Proven experience in technical project management - Scoping, Estimation, Planning, Execuion, Tracking
- Experience in planning sprints, sprint reviews and retrospectives
- Hands-on experience in setting up and managing Jira / or any other project collaboration tool for project requirements and issue tracking
