As a senior backend engineer, you will work with a talented team of Product Managers, Designers, and Data Analysts to build user-centric products encompassing backend development, monitoring, scaling and optimizing to make the administration of A4B products simple.
In this role, you'll get to :
- Build and own microservices while working with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Designers, and Data Analysts.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Perform Peer Code Reviews
- Deploy and monitor versions, retire older versions and push patch fixes.
On the first day, we'll expect you to have :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience crafting and implementing highly scalable and performant RESTful microservices, OAuth, Nginx.
- Proficiency in any modern object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Javascript, etc.) and MVC architecture.
- Fluency in relational database technology (e.g. Postgres and MySQL), NoSQL databases (e.g.MongoDB) and Database Architecture.
- Experience with Web Markup like Javascript, Typescript and HTML.
- In-depth experience with Linux and Shell scripting.
- Built systems on multithreaded programming languages and managed queues.
- Worked on building and optimizing Data pipelines on popular Cloud Platforms.
- Real passion for collaboration and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
It's awesome, but not required, if you have :
- Experience in scaling platforms growing at pace.
- Strong 0-1 experience, and proceeded to 1-10 and 10-100 experiences.
- Moving from a Monolithic to a Microservice Architecture.
