Roles & Responsibilities :
Qualification / Education & Experience :
- Training or academic degree in the relevant fields or lateral entrants with appropriate professional experience
- Several years of experience in object-oriented PHP software development
- Excellent knowledge of PHP frameworks (example: Zend, Doctrine)
- Excellent knowledge of databases, internet standards and protocols
- Exposure and working knowledge in programming web services (SOAP, REST)
- Exposure and working knowledge in programming / execution of unit tests, especially with PHPUnit
- Experience in JavaScript and corresponding frameworks (e.g.: Dojo, jQuery)
- Exposure and working knowledge with Linux
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Responsibilities & Accountabilities :
- Planning, development and maintenance of the Modix CMS
- Requirements analysis with regard to design, specification and implementation
- Technical conception
- Cost estimation
- Quality Assurance
- Documentation in the JIRA ticket system
- Statistical evaluations
Job Purpose :
- Backend developers work in a team with frontend developers and participate in coordination processes with project and product managers. Backend Developers in a project team are involved in projects for dealers, dealer groups and manufacturers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland and promotes the development of the system.
