Qualification : B.Tech Tier 1/2 e.g. IIT,NIT,BITs etc Preferred.
Skills Set : Laravel/PHP/React.JS + Strong Exposure implementing AI/ML on platforms.
Candidates should have a background in e-commerce/food delivery/travel and hyper growth/digital companies. Preference to those who have Familiarity with implementing AI/ML solutions on recommender engines, personalization engines, interactive features is good.

Job description :
- Seeking a dynamic engineering professional who is keen to join a startup and is high on energy.
- The Head of Engineering would drive the vision, design, strategy, and implementation of integrated web systems in order to support the business.
- This is a leadership role in the engineering department where he/she has to work closely and collaborate with other business departments such as sales, marketing, and finance in order to roll out new systems and implement the ongoing process.
- Lead the engineering team comprising of Frontend developers, UI/UX, Backend+Cloud developers, AI/ML Engineers, DevOps Lead, QA team etc
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering teams as well as the management & execution of projects against delivery commitments and project plans.
- Provide technical guidance and direction, as well as hands-on resource and project management, for all development activities.
- Ensures the optimal application of engineering resources in order to meet product
development and consumer requirements and ensures the implementation of agile processes that support the development processes.
- Play a leading role in the recruiting activities of the engineering department in order to ensure consistency in departmental efficiency.
- Shall be mentor to key engineering personnel, assisting in their duties upon request, and constantly promoting the growth of their professional skills, readying them for the assumption of his duties in his absence or retirement.
An Ideal candidate :
- A candidate for this position shall have at least 4 years of working experience and shall preferably be working as an Engineering Manager/Head.
- He/She shall have vast experience in software engineering, site/software development and experience working with numerous software-industry business models inclusive of subscription, ecommerce, support and fulfillment.
- He/She shall also have demonstrated experience in the management of a frontend or backend team through cross-functional projects and recording project progress.
