We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Full Stack Developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.
Full Stack Developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing front end website architecture.
- Designing user interactions on web pages.
- Developing back end website applications.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
- Work mainly on client projects (Entire Product lifecycle)
- New and existing Projects
- Work on up-and-coming products and betas
- Work in a team with 0-3 other developers (might get larger)
-Work on reviewing other developers code
- Writing test cases for code (new or existing code)
- Training and reviewing work of other Junior developers
Basic Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- Good communication skills and team mindset
- Proficient understanding of clean code principles
- Working knowledge of GIT, Linux and the Unix Command Line
- Extensive knowledge of PHP, SQL and JavaScript
- Comfortable with RESTful systems and a frontend framework like Angular or React
- Prior software development experience working throughout the project lifecycle.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of Angular, Laravel and Unit Testing
- Experience using a Project Management tool (such as JIRA) and Strict Coding Standards
