Technology Exposure:
Key Skills: PHP / Wordpress, Woocommerce, Laravel or any other PHP based ecommerce framework
Frontend: Javascript, React js / AngularJS (Value add), jQuery, BootStrap
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and deliver web sites and components from the requirements understanding stage to production deployment.
- Strong understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability.
- Experience of seamless integration of frontend to the back-end functionality.
- Must be able to balance the aesthetic, technical, and business aspects of a website.
- Knowledge of WebServices, JSON APIs, to consume and render the front end UI.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress websites using the best practice and de-facto standard plugins.
- Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level :
- Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
- Creation of custom post types
- Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding standards
- Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
- Theme/Template integration
- Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial.
- Responsible for understanding project requirements, and develop the application modules to meet the requirements as provided in the Design Documents.
- Responsible for Unit design and coding.
- Work with developers and architects, to ensure bug free and timely delivery of allocated development tasks.
- Responsible for implementing and following standards and guidelines with best coding practices in mind.
- Provide support for production systems in the form of enhancements, maintenance and minor bug fixes.
