We are looking for an Automation Tester with demonstrable expertise in software testing who can design and develop highly accurate automated test cases, with a drive to make bug free web applications and software. You have to conduct automated and manual tests (where required) to confirm the software created by developers is acceptable and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users. you may be part of a collaborative Agile development team and work with Product Owners, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Senior Developers, UI/UX Designers and more on both the front and back-end elements of the Unified Infotech.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze user stories / use cases / requirements for validity and feasibility
- Work with users, business analysts, developers and project support to understand the scope of work
- Design test cases / scenarios based on business requirements.
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration and Regression)
- Write and execute test scripts
- Run automated testing
- Manage the testing cycle (STLC)
- Run tests using various environments
- Performing Root Cause Analysis and assessing code
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors, and help troubleshoot issues
- Design and develop automation scripts when needed
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Provide timely solutions
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
- Support the test team to design and implement test scripts, thereby delivering efficient products.
- Educate staff members through training and individual support
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Required Skills for QA Automation Tester :
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in developing and enhancing UI Automation framework for Web-based application.
- 2+ years of experience in writing test plans and test cases based on requirements.
- Experience in performing functional testing and regression testing.
- Experience in implementing and designing test-driven framework
- Proficiency working with Automation frameworks: TestNG, Selenium, Maven
- Proficient in building automated test scripts using Selenium with JAVA with maven dependencies and source control through GIT.
- Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues.
- Extremely detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Good understanding of databases like SQL Server, MySQL, PHP MY ADMIN, etc.
- Understand JAVA concepts and coding skills.
- Building/maintaining and refactoring effectively automated tests on multiple environments as a standalone.
- Hands-on Experience with API automation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
